Title
Jordan. Amman, 2017 USAID Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Conference
Description
The USAID Sustainable Cultural Heritage Through Engagement of Local Communities Project, implemented by ACOR, supported and participated in a number of special events, high-level meetings, lectures, and conferences from 2014 – 2018. Such events provided opportunities to exchange knowledge, develop and present policies and guidelines, plan collaborations, and strengthen the community of practice around Jordan’s heritage. In May 2017, USAID Jordan and the Monitoring and Evaluation Support Project organized a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Amman with the participation of MEL professionals from USAID projects and implementing partners. The conference provided a platform for learning, collaborating, and networking, through interactive discussion panels, seminars, working sessions, as well as an exposition on the first day to showcase the work of USAID activities in Jordan. SCHEP was featured at the conference with a co-presentation and panel discussion on “GIS Techniques in Developing an Affective M&E System” with the participation of SCHEP COP Nizar Al Adarbeh, as well as a booth highlighting SCHEP’s activities and showing the M&E results of SCHEP.
