In August 2016, Ade Adepitan of BBC’s The Travel Show visited the Temple of the Winged Lions to shoot a segment on USAID SCHEP-supported work at the site. The resulting clip, entitled “Looking for Petra’s lost treasures,” highlighted efforts by ACOR’s Temple of the Winged Lions Cultural Resource Management Initiative to train and employ local community members at the site and to establish interactive activities for visitors to get engaged in the site development work. Site stewards Ahmad Mowasa and Eman Abdessalam were interviewed for the program, as was project director Glenn Corbett of ACOR.
