Description
Beidha: The excavated Stone Age village of Beidha, one kilometer south west of Siq al-Barid, Beidha,the white one' in Arabic, dates from the period at the end of the Stone Age known as the Neolithic era, when people in the Near East making the slow, gradual transition from small groups of nomadic hunter-gatherers to settled villagers who domesticated animals and cultivated plants.
