Description
USAID SCHEP held a training course in drone theory and operation for employees of the Wadi Rum staff. SCHEP, which is implemented by the American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR), planned this training in response to the need for such technology to monitor the Site and surveil the wider area to prevent vandalism and other illegal practices. Thanks to this training, the employees are now better-equipped to operate cutting-edge technologies to ensure the continued security and preservation of this unique and important site.
