Description
In August 2020, ACOR USAID SCHEP and AMIDEAST conducted two English language training courses in Wadi Rum for local community members and cultural heritage sector employees. A total of 14 staff members of the Wadi Rum Protected Area (WRPA) took part in "Essential Communication Skills in English," developing their fundamental language and communication skills to aid their professional development. At the same time, 20 members of the Disi Women’s Association participated in an English for Tourism course, which will help them communicate with English-speaking tourists to describe various services available and engage in basic customer service exchanges.
