Description
From February 23-27, 2020, ACOR USAID SCHEP launched its first week-long English for Tourism training in Ghawr as Safi in partnership with AMIDEAST. The course was completed by 18 local community members, including employees of the Jordan Southern Ghawr Company, which was founded in 2017 with technical and material assistance from USAID SCHEP. Other groups, including the Ghawr as Safi Women’s Association, Um Al Hashim Association, Ayn Abata Association, Safi Kitchen, and Fifa Women’s Organization, were also represented.
