Description
As part of its support for the development of sustainable, community-based tourism in Jordan, USAID SCHEP supported the establishment of the Jordan Southern Ghawr Company in Ghawr as Safi in 2018. The company seeks to develop alternative tourism options in the Dead Sea area, and hosts agritourism and other experiences through its partner, Safi Kitchen. In March 2019, the USAID SCHEP team was joined by representatives of USAID Jordan on a field visit to experience the services offered by Safi Kitchen.
