As part of its support for the development of Jordan’s cultural heritage institutions, USAID SCHEP supported a series of intensive workshops to help draft the new Archaeological Heritage Strategy for Jordan. On November 6, 2019, over 60 employees of the Department of Antiquities, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority, and the American Center of Research, gathered with SCHEP team members in the Crowne Plaza Amman to discuss issues of Museum Management, Collections Management, and Object Interpretation & Presentation.
