Description
In October 2019, ACOR USAID SCHEP supported a Visitor Survey and Tracking project at the Temple of the Winged Lions in Petra, in partnership with the Temple of the Winged Lions Cultural Resource Management Initiative, the PDTRA, and the Petra College of Tourism and Archaeology at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (HBTU), and with support of the DOA. Four students and two PDTRA staff members conducted interviews and tracked visitors over a two-week period. This project aimed to encourage the PDTRA and Petra College to work together to engage with visitors at the site and gather information on how to improve it for visitors.
