Description
As part of its support for the development of Jordan’s cultural heritage institutions, USAID SCHEP supported a series of intensive workshops to help draft the new Archaeological Heritage Strategy for Jordan. On October 22, 2019, representatives from the Department of Antiquities, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Petra Development & Tourism Regional Authority, and ACOR gathered together for a workshop on the third pillar of the strategy: Research and Studies. The day’s discussions focused on four sub-pillars: Publications; Reporting; Scientific Conferences; and Knowledge Management.
